Congratulations!!! What a great start to a new year! My info to you would be keep walking while in the hospital. I really think it helps! I was so nervous that I was trying to back out while they were preping me for surgery! You'll be fine. Where are you hving it done? It's all such a learning experience everyday, even when you think you've got all the info you need! Good luck and happy losing! 289/249 Jennifer

Michaele, Just remember it gets better every day. You should be walking the halls at the hospital 6 times a day to prevent blood clots. Make sure you don't sit in one place for more than 20 minutes when you get home. I just walked around the house. I took very little pain meds when I got home. The first few night I took 1/2 dose just to help me sleep. I felt great by day 7 and I was out shopping with my sister. Be postive. Drinks lots of water sip sip sip and walk walk walk! Remember OH has a library (scroll up) I looked up so many things b4 I had surgery 11-4 and I asked questions on the CA board so experienced post op could shed some light. This web site is awesome. Best Wishes for a speedy recovery Happy Losing, Summer 240/202/140
