Finally broke my almost 2 week mini-plateau!

My surgeon says that a real plateau is actually 4w or longer, but for me, this sure seemed like one. I have been sitting steady at 200 since about the 11th, which was two days after my last surgeon appointment. I got on the scale this morning and I am down to 197!!!!! I haven't weighed in the 100s (albeit super close to 200) since before I got married almost 6 years ago. I also borrowed some clothes from my best friend (they are too big on her now) and it seems that I have gone down from a size 24 to either a regular 18 or a 16w and from a 3x to a XL! My scale was stuck at 200 for 3 weeks, and then all of a sudden it dropped to 198 now 197!! My surgery was 11-10-04...when was yours?? I just got my first fill on the 24th morning... 1.3 cc's. have you had a fill yet?? Keep me posted okay... Susan

same. I am glad that I wasn't the only one stuck at 200 forever, but sorry that you were there with me too! What was your pre-op weight, if you don't mind? I started out at 240 on my scale at home. I have now been at 197 for a day or two, but I am not obsessing like I was before! I might sound stupid, but what is a fill? Sounds like you are doing great!!! Roni 240/197/140

Hi everyone! I feel a little silly since I just found this board. A fill means she must have a lapband instead of the rny. I wish I was right under the 200s. I am down about 36 pounds right now ....so I am losing slower than ya'll =( but that's o****ep telling myself, it seems slow but it sure is alot faster than if I was trying to lose it without the surgery.... you guys are doing AWESOME!

It took me a while to figure out where this board is too. It is not as fast as the main board, but it is really nice to be around other people that are at the same place out. I think your weight loss is great! I just keep reminding myself that whatever I lose it is gone for good. I have felt really hungry today and have wanted to snack, so I need to remind myself!
