OK I know this is late but can anyone help? I thought I was only going to have 3 kids for Christmas Day... big deal... I know what they like.....but now I am having visitors from out of town... perhaps 3 - 5 adults. Now, I cannot eat meat or fresh fruits or vegetables at this time, being so new out from surgery. One of the most important persons coming had a double coronary bypass the day after my surgery. OK.. I'm getting to it. The point is..... WHat the hell do I cook???? I also have a hard time cooking without tasting... what do I make that most everyone can eat, is not too exahausting for me, has something that I can eat too, is not high fat or high sodium.......I am in a tizzy!!!! Help any of you menu wizards out there!!! B

You can't have any meat yet?? I was able to have a little piece of turkey at thanksgiving and then was given full permision to eat turkey or chicken the tuesday after. I'll keep thinking and see if I can come up with anything for ya!

B- Hmmmmmm what about a turkey? I would say ham which would be super easy but that is high in sodium. Turkey is not too bad, use the Reynolds Oven bag and they come out nice and moist. You should be able to eat turkey right? You could also make some squash, mashed potatoes, green beans???? I know its rough. Good luck! I hope you get some good ideas! Janet

I'm doing soup, a meat and cheese tray, and a few snacks. I figure I can have the soup and a little cheese! And then there will plenty for everyone else to "pig out". Don't stress! Just keep it easy - everyone will understand! Good luck and have a great holiday!!!
