sick from birth control

Hello everyone! Merry Christmas! I was really sick for a few days and was told it was a viral bug. I wasn't getting better and started to investigate on my own. I found out that the Ortho evra patch I was on was too much for my system. I took it off and was fine a day and a half later! Yahoooooo! I can eat again and feel great and I was also cleared to go back to Curves and live my new life to the fullest! I am so excited!!! Just a thought to anyone with that patch. I was told that the pill wasn't absorbed very well after wls and therefore not effective. I am going to try Mirena (IUD) next week. Anyway, is there anyone else having problems with birth control methods?

I am! I am on the shot and have bled for about 25 days now!! I am really getting sick of it! It was just fine until I had surgery. My 3 months is almost up so I think I will just let it wear off!! I'm glad things worked out for you!!! Merry Christmas!!!!

Well...I had the shot this month too .... no bleeding, but I mean, what sex drive?? I feel like a nun ... (no offense to anyone)
