Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know about Egg Fu yung. I have been able to tolerate this item and it's very high in protein.. about 17 grams for one patty! I was really happy I could eat this because I still have trouble with scrambled eggs Someone had mentioned Egg Flower Soup (I couldn't handle the hot and spicy- too spicy for me- I dumped- urgh) and it went down very well- yeah! (That has about 8 grams of protein per cup via fitday.com.) So I thought of trying egg fu yung. I was also able to handle some of the chicken from chop suey... it was very soft and mild. I have issues with being very dizzy and going from normal to high normal blood pressure to having BP under 100/70-- so my doctor told me to increase my salt intake (I've never been big on salt), so for me eating Chinese food is actually helping me retain my fluids (which I've been having trouble getting enough) and has helped me with my dizziness. Just thought I'd post this since I seem to be on the opposite spectrum from a lot of you guys/gals that post Jennifer

I am so glad you mentioned your Blood Pressure. Mine has been doing the same thing and I didn't know what the deal was. My bp has always been a little low and never jumped around!! After I read this last night, I decided to try some salt and I think I already feel less dizzy!!! Thanks for the info!!!!!

When I eat the Egg Fu Yung I eat the insides- I hope this helps Oh, I eat the Pork EFU. I'm glad I'm not the only one with low BP issues and dizziness- you may just want to run this by your doc first, esp. if you have any health issues regarding swelling, etc. Good luck MommyX2 and Amanda! Jennifer

I have had egg foo yung too, but I was afraid to have the sauce that goes with it... have you guys had the sauce??

When I've gotten EFU the sauce is already on it, but I don't really eat it since I primarily eat the insides of the EFU. I think it's an egg based sauce so if you eat the whole EFU you'd probably be OK with the sauce.

Hey Jennifer, i just noticed where you live. We used to live on the naperville/Aurora line right accross from Fox Valley mall. To bad we didn't still live there, would be nice to have someone close who had the same thing done!

well, what worries me about the sauce is sugar. I know they put sugar in most, if not all their sauces, so I asked. I dont know if they understood me or not but whenever I ask them questions they always answer "little bit", lol. I am not sure I am willing to take that chance!! LOL
