How much can you eat?

I am not eating that much. I had my surgery a little over 2 weeks ago. I have not been sick but I just do not have a desire to eat. I might have 1/4 cup of food each meal... with a bottle of water in between each meal. Sometimes I will suck on a popcycle. But I am just not hungry. I have to make myself eat. Some meals I may eat a little more than others. I have been successful eating pureed chicken and I was so proud of myself. I feel lucky that I have not been sick. I had my surgery on the 11/29... 2 weeks out and I have lost 25 pounds maybe more. I really notice the weight loss in my face, hands, ankles, feet and chest. I have not weighed myself since 12/10 (last Friday). I have dropped one size! I wish you all the luck in the world. I am so glad we can all talk about this and go through this together. I think as long as we all go by the guidelines our doctor has provided we will have a successful recovery from our WLS! Jen

I'm almost 6 weeks out. I can eat about 3 oz of food or I will BARF. (done that twice, don't want to ever do it again...) I just started eating meat, I can't eat much of that at all. Maybe 1.5 ounces if I chew really good? Donna

I eat about 3-4 oz. I feel like I could eat a lot more but I stop there. I do OK unless I am around food that smells so good I just want to eat. It is head hunger but it is hard. My plan is 3 meals, no snacks and one meal is a protein shake. I get my protein and water in every day. But today at work there was so many snacks every where.
