11/29/04 Surgery Date

Anyone out there with 11/29 as their surgery date? I am feeling okay a little gassy and I can feel my insides kind moving and shifting which I hear is normal after surgery. How is everyone feeling? LaNee

See my other post but basically I'm feeling good. No pain also a little gassy but not as bad as I prepared myself for. Just very tired! Beth

Had my surgery on 11/29/04. I haven't been too tired and have been doing my walking. Still pretty gassy but very little pain except at bedtime. I do have trouble getting all my protein in but trying my best. I don't think I will be able to stomach having broth only after this next week!!! I will be glad to go to soft foods. Glad to hear others are doing well. Lise

I also had surgery on the 29th and feeling pretty good.and yes i have the gas,after i eat.i am not getting all my protein in either... how can you? it is terrible the protien drinks and the shakes.any sugustions. Eva

I am getting in about 40 of the 64g I am supposed to. I ordered the ready to drink glass bottles of isopure zero carb. They are 20 oz bottles and the flavors taste like a very lightly flavored koolaid with a mild aftertaste because of the protein. They have 40g of protein per bottle. Its the only thing besides the eas silver ready to drink that I can stand. And the eas, I only can stomach the Rich Dark Chocolate ones with 15g of protein. Lise

I had my surgery on the 29th also....... I'm feeling fine ,hardly any pain. I stopped the pain meds the day after surgery because they were making me feel sick. The only pain that i have been having has been on my left side and a still feel a bit bloated. I have gone out walking a few times but the weather hasn't been that great these passed few days.(so I've been walking around the house) anyway ......good luck to all of you that have had your surgery and my prayers are for those with up comming dates........Maria
