any advice for my scars

I had to have my surgery open and I had 30 staples. 1 week post op staples were removed and strips applied. 3 weeks post op now and I have 2 places on my stomach that is still trying to split and oozes yuck. Taking antibiotics and cleaning twice daily. Any advice would help. But the good thing is I have lost 37 lbs in 3 weeks.

Before putting anything on scars... please be sure they are healed well... not open or oozing. My surgeon advises applying neosporin (antibiotic ointment) and in my family cocoa butter has worked wonders for scars! B
