I started diarreah as well, they say it is from the barium swallow. You are not ating enough to get it out and then all of a sudden you rbody has enough waste and the barium turns ittin diarreha. It sounds crazy but it only lastesd a couple of days for me. Good luck with it! I am 1 week out and doin good!

Diarrhea is normal if you only have liquids in. Liquid goes in and liquid comes out. In case you didn't know it is common to have dirrhea lifelong after this surgery. It's part of the malabsorptive component. Also if you are cramping real bad could be gas pains. I am on an antibiotic and it has made me have diarrhea about 5 times a day. I went off yesterday, and only went 3 times today. Better, but doc told me today that dirrhea is normal.
