i'm so happy

I don't know about the rest of you, but I had to have a tracheotomy for my gastric bypass. I have had this thing for about a month. Today though I get it taken out! I am so happy that I can finally walk normally without hacking up a lung. This trach was slowing me down alot, and now it won't slow me down anymore. Just wanted to share!!

wow! I had never heard of having to have a trach for this. I'm glad that you got to get it out!! Jacquie

Why did you have to have one of these things?

I had to have a tracheotomy because my airway wasn't big enough to put the tube down my throat. So i had this trach for about 5 weeks. I am glad it is gone!!
