Day after surgery

Hi everyone! Thanks for your prayers...they were heard! I went through surgery with no hitches. I have a number of issues with the hospital but I dont want to write negative concerning my experience but rather focus on the positive. One thing that really upset me was the lack of help and concern...I was discharged about 4 hours ago with a temperature of 100 and spitting up bloody phlem. I am confident that I will have a speedy recovery now that I am out of there. I am able to keep down everything that I have tried...broth, popsicle, tea, cranberry juice, and eggnog. I am craving a meal but will stick on my liquids knowing that when I begin losing the effort will be worth it! I am going to lay down now as I am feeling quite tired and achy. Greer

Did your doc realize your spitting up blood? I had lap band on Nov 1st.. I ordered Unjury from Unjury.com,it's a protein drink which went down much easier than any others. Take care of yourself!
