Kathy- Can't wait to hear about your first post op appt. Man I feel bad for you still having the staples in, I could not wait to get them out. My surgery was 11/15 and they came out 11/23. I go back on 12/21 for my one month. What is your diet like right now, are you still on liquids, pureed or what? Update when you get the chance!!!! Janet

Hi Kathy - we have the same surgery day! I went for my post op on Tuesday, before Thanksgiving. I feel like you, good, no nauseau or vomiting and following the program. I was given the ok to move on from liquids so on Thanksgiving I had a little bit of mashed potatoes, mashed turnips and I did have some turkey that I cut up smaller than a baby's and chewed it until it was nothing in my mouth, but it tasted good!! I had it all with some gravy - I dont feel like I missed out on anything! Well.....I didnt have any dessert but I still didnt feel like I was missing out. Good luck on your post op! God bless you and keep you, ~Andrea

Kathy- Actually I have begun to branch out a bit and get more creative. We had ham steaks the other night. I cut some up into cubes and put them through the food processor, then added a little mustard. That tasted good. Also I took a chicken tender 100% white meat and processed that and added light ranch dressing. Tonight I made egg beaters with ham, cheese, and salsa, and after it was cooked I put it in the blender and added a little light sour cream. Looked gross but tasted wonderful!!!! SO far everything has stayed down without an issue. It scares me too sometimes because I wonder just where my line is of being too much and having to I do not want to pu**** though thats for sure!!!!!!! Janet
