Anone feeling tired?
Sheila-
Hmmm no idea so I am just gonna throw out some maybes.... are you keeping up with your vitamins, protein, and water? Maybe you're not getting enough iron? When is the next time you get your blood levels checked? Are you taking an iron supplement? Like I said, I have no idea, just making guesses. It could be you're coming down with something too? Not sure, hope you get some energy back soon!

Sheila, You may be experiencing "hibernation syndrome". Approx. 2 to 3 weeks after surgery , the body "figures out" that it is not going to be recieving its accustomed calories for a long time. This causes the body to fall back on its built in evolutionary response to a low food supply resulting in your body wanting to rest and be as still as possible until the food returns. Your energy level will drop through the floor, and you may become tearfull, and irritable. Fortunately, this should resolve in approx. 2 weeks once your body figures out to use fat as your main energy force. I would still call your MD and see what they say. Hope this helps and you are feeling better soon. Dru
Thank you so much for your replys. You all made a lot of sense. I will be calling my doctor's office tomorrow to check in and see what they say, but in the meantime I am upping my water intake as well as my protein. Also, I just started taking vitamins this past Thursday. You are all angels.
Thanks again,
Shelia
I had surgery on 11/9 I am feeling the same. I have been walking about 4.5 miles a day and drinking almost 100 oz of water. But all of a sudden I can't eat my stomach is rumbling like crazy can't sleep. Today is the first day I didn't get out and walk I just don't have the energy to go. Since I am not on my estrogen I am having a lot of hot flashes. I have a call in to the doctor to see what can be done. If I eat I feel so much worse.
