I'm home!

Hey guys! I got home on Friday. I had my surgery Monday and everything went great. Everybody was very happy with my recovery and seemed like I was even running a bit ahead of schedule. If I hadn't lived 3 hours away I would have been able to go home much sooner. So today is 7 days post op and I'm feeling suprisingly well. I haven't thrown up once, I can get around with minimal pain. I still take about 2 naps a day, but can't fight that! And I am taking it easy. Most of the time I spend in a recliner or my bed. So lets just say I'm thrilled with everything right now! I go in for my post op appointment on the 30th. So thanks for all the support!! Jacquie

Thats good to hear that everything went well im having my surgery tommorow.. so what have u been eating or shall i say drinking for the last few days??

HOW WONDERFUL. I HAD MY SURGERY ON NOV.9TH AND LIKE YOU AM DOING GREAT. IVE HAD NO PAIN, NO VOMITING AND AM ABLE TO GET EVERTHING DOWN THAT IM SUPPOED TO. I EVEN WENT BACK TO WORK 6 DAYS LATER. MY POST OP IS ON WED THE 24TH I CANT WAIT TO SEE HOW MUCH WEIGHT IVE LOST. I HAVENT GOTTEN ON THE SCALE SINCE THE DAY OF THE SURGERY SO I KNOW ILL BE SUPRISED. I WISH YOU A CONTINUED SPEEDY RECOVERY. Hey Jacquie, I am 5 days post op and I am glad to hear that you are home and doing well. I spent Monday at home, sleeping and trying not to eat or drink the wrong things. Well, it was all liquid anyway, so I made it. So, take care and welcome to the losing side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cathy

Welcome home. Mine was on Friday and I got home Sunday afternoon. So far so good. My 1 wk post op is Monday 11/29 and then it's back to work for 1/2 day. Best of luck on your weight loss and recovery! ~Melissa
