soooo ready!!

Hi everyone. I just found this site last week and have gotten some really good info just reading the message board! My surgery is Nov. 23rd, 7:30 a.m. and I'm so excited! I'm really ready to get started on this new way of life! Dr. Kelly from St. Paul Surgeons at United. If anyone has some tips for me regarding the hospital stay.......please share them!!

Hi Lori, My surgery is just 1 1/2 hrs after yours!! This site has been the best way to get info. I'm glad you found it too! Regarding the hospital stay, I've been told not to leave home without your chapstick!!! Take care and keep us posted ok. Sandra in CA

Hiya! I had my surgery Nov 2nd...my advice is WALK WALK WALK WALK WALK. And ask for your pain meds (if your not on auto) an hour in advance. Most times I waited an hour for a nurse to come. It goes SO FAST! You'll do great! Sincerely, Julie
