I am one day out....woohoo!!!! Everything went well and I am glad to be back home. I have a couple of questions. 1) does anyone know of a good flavorless protein powder for mixing with soups or broths?? Chocolate protien in my chicken broth doesnt sound appealing. 2) has anyone else experienced food flashes. By that I mean you are not thinking about anything food related and all of a sudden a Big Mac (for example only) flashes into your mind? I suspect its just my mind trying to deal with the changes in my eating habits, but I am curious if I am the only one who has them. Thank you for your support. Michael

Michael, Glad to hear that the surgery went well for you and that you're home safe and sound. I hope your recovery is a speedy one! As far as protein, the one I hear mentioned alot on the main message board is unjury and I believe their website is unjury.com. If you want to see some of the proteins and the reviews that our members have written you can look on the nutritional forum and get all kinds of good info on proteins, vitamins and other things. Just click on Gallery at the top of the page and scroll down on the home page. There should be a link to the nutritional forum on the lower left-hand side of the page. I haven't had my surgery yet (scheduled for 11/29) so I can't say that I've had any food flashes. Truthfully, I hope I don't. Good luck on your journey! Debbie

My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. But the best I've found is also Unjury. They usually ship the same day. I've used the unflavored in chicken broth and really can't tell a difference in flavors. I've been on liquids for over a week now and haven't had any flashes or cravings. This time tomorrow I'll be in recovery. I can't wait.
