Only 12 more days

Surgery is 11/29/04. Talk about the 12 days of Christmas. This is the best gift I have ever given myself. I've told my daughter that I'm having the surgery so she and I can jump rope together. Her birthday is May 13th. I'm currently 5'10" @ 353.8lbs. If I stick to my diet and excerise I should have lost enough to jump rope with her on her 7th birthday.

Mine is on 11/23/04. I wish you lots of luck. I'm also doing this for health reasons. I can't wait to ride a bicycle, join a marathon, and just plain walk a flight of stairs without feeling out of breath! I bet your daughter can't wait to have you join her in her activities. Who knows, you may beat her in a game of relay by next year! Stay Strong!

I know what you all mean I have 13 more day's left and yes it is like christmas. I can't wait for my gift as well. If your daughter is like my 3 son's she is going to be so excite my son will be 14 on may 9th and I can't wait until I can be an cheerleader for them at their basketball games. YYYYeaaahhhhh

We'll have a "rebirthday" together Anita. I'm waiting those same 12 days with you. I've been a combination of excited, scared, nervous and excited again. I catch myself daydreaming about those walks in the park for hours on end, dressing to please myself instead to fit into whatever is available, to be able to see my feet again without having to sit down first. We're going to have a wonder Christmas and a successful journey. I believe it in my heart. Debbie
