I'm with you Eva-mine surgery's the next day. Have you visited the lapband forum? Great info there on the early and long term diets as well as protein sources. From what I've read-Unjury protein powder unflavored is the best since it doesn't have any vitamins or anything to make it taste funny. They have a website at www.unjury.com and they sell samples-I've ordered some though they say our taste buds may change after surgery. I'm starting to get a little nervous but I know we are all going to do well. Debi

I have disacovered that the slim fast low carb shakes has 20 g of protein and 1 g of sugar and they really taste good , does anyone use these?I think they are fairly new , not like the regular slim fast that fills you up on sugar....God bless you and protect you and all the others going into surgery Pat
