Gloria That's how I feel - "is this just going to be another failure?". So we can support each other - I have failed so many diets/methods/programs/therapies so many times... this time it just has to work!!! I just don't reckon I have another failure in me...I mean I wouldn't survive another failure... I never tried anything using internet support - so maybe this is the little difference that will help us?! I am also having a band (not a Lap, but a "Swedish band" - just a different brand.) Don't beat yourself up - we have to give ourselves the right to succeed!!! I'll be thinking of you and I'll be pulling for you. My op is on the 19th. I'm just a loser who is going to be PROUD to be a loser!!! right???!!! Anne

Hi Gloria You're going to be just fine....I am also having my surgery on the 19th...I'm having lap rny. I've looked to this site for quite a bit of support and alot of my questions have been answered and fears put to rest. No failing....Good Luck! Debbie in GA

Congratulations and no you will not be a failure. You will start your wonderful loosing on the 19th.

No failures for you!!! YOu go forward with a positive attitude. That will take you a long way. I know it is hard. I am scheduled for lap rny on the 29th. We all have our fears and worries, but, stay focused and you will be just fine. Let God handle the bad part and you look forward to all the good ready to happen in your life.
