Finally on the other side....

thank you God I made it to the other side! I had surgery Friday afternoon and got to come home today! It's a four hour drive and I made it just fine. I'm pretty weak, but that's okay! Does anyone have a most gosh awful taste in their mouths? I've been trying to use listerine patch on the tongue and it is so strong. My doctor said sugarless gum was okay so I'll probably be buying stock! I'm so very blessed and so excited. Blessings to you all! Patti

Hi Patti, I tried some sugar free mints that helped. Also tried scope mouthwash, which help me a lot. I mostly was bothered by dry mouth and dry throat for a couple of days, but am fine now. Good to meet you in the hospital! Hope all continues to go well with you and yours! I have lost 19 pounds in the first three days! Unbelievable!! Am sore from the surgery and still bloated somewhat, but fine otherwise. John Paul.
