Today I felt like a brick wall fell on me...I may have to cancel my surgery. We were doing a home equity loan to pay for my surgery and pay off debt...well this morning, our loan officer called us and told that they won't be able to the loan now cuz we have a manufactured home not a stick built. They never asked us if did or not thru tho whole process til it came down to the wire..They discovered this after the appraisor did a drive by. I am so upset...I don't know what to do now. I've been trying to figure out ways to do this all day. I'm in tears I know the Wish Center does financing...does anyone know the total costs of the surgery there? Has anyone done financing thru them? If you do do fiancing thru them, how long does it take to get a surgery date? Is there any other doctors in Washington or Oregon that does in house financing? Thanks so much! Joanie

Joanie, Don't be discouraged, keep on fighting you deserve this just as much as anyone else! I'm not exactly sure about how much the Wish Center charges but I think it's 12,800 for lap-band or something like that look them up and call! They also added medicaid or medicare to there insurance lists so give it a shot! Good luck sweetie and God bless! Johanna

Joanie, I can't help you on the cost. But I would like to say how sorry I am to hear of the bad news. Hopefully things will work out for you so you can still have the surgery. Keep your head up and keep praying. Best of Luck Becky

Joanie, could you call your current lender and see if you can refinance? If you have equity in your home (if its worth more than you owe on it) you might be able to do this. The reason you couldn't was because (possibly) its hard to find comparable sales for a man. home. they don't hold their value like a regular house. Good luck. Don't give up. michelle
