Anyone else 11/29 surgery?

I have a scope on Thursday 11/11 and surgery on 11/29 anyone else share my date?

Hey Donna! I have my surgery set for 11/29 too! I can't wait. I go for my pre-test on the 24th... the day before Thanksgiving! How are you feeling. I am really excited... nervouse... kinda on cloud 9! I am just living in the moment and getting ready for my life to change for the better! Keep in touch! Can't wait to be a Loser! I am worrying about not being able to enjoy food. Doesn't that sound CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess it has been my friend so long I am really trying to prepare myself. I wi**** was next week instead of another week away!!! I have my protein drinks, Isopure, and Designer Whey. I need to get the soups, popsicles(sp), and bottled water. I also have not purchased my vitamins yet either. I will do all of this on the week end.

I, too, am scheduled to the 11/29 date. I am happy, but, very scared and nervous too. I am 49 yrs old and live in Va. Hope to hear from you guys. We can compare notes and support each other. God bless you all. Linda

Hi Donna and ladies. I too am scheduled for surgery on 11/29/04, in Boca Raton, Florida. I am so excited. My pre-op is scheduled for 11/22/04, then I'll leave for a family reunion for thanksgiving and arrive home just in time to start my liquid diet. Hooray for us!!! I can't wait. Lynn P.

Hi!, I am having surgery on the 29th too! I had VBG surgery a couple of years ago with little success but the surgery went wonderfully and I recuperated quickly. My doc uses an epidural and leaves it in a couple of days which made all the difference. I was able to walk the first day! Without pain! I hope the second time around goes just as well. It's nice to see I am not the only one going in on the 29th. Good luck to you all! Michelle

Looks like there are several of us whose date is on the 29th. We'll have lots of stories to share I'm sure. I've finished all my pre-op and now I just have the waiting to do. Like everyone else, I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. It's the damndest feeling! Debbie

I'm going on the 29th also. In Gainesville, FL. 18 days and counting.....I can't wait...went to the grocery store (figuring i gotta eat something till then) and just passed up all sorts of stuff cuz I kept hearing my little self saying "don't buy that, there's gonna be too much left after surgery and it will just go to waste, so save your $$. Very proud of myself...thus far hav'nt found anything that I think i will miss terribly....yet!

My surgery is also scheduled for 11/29. We'll have to get in touch afterward to celebrate. Looks like the 29th will be a good day all over the place.
