Anyone have a November 10 date! Let's talk!

I'm scheduled for Nov 10 - lap RnY. Really anxious - want to be more excited than nervous but I'm not there yet. God Bless...

YESSSS I have a November 10th date for the lapband.....Stay in touch ok! We will pull through just fine Will post when I can get on the computer...........this all liquid diet is not fun or good but guess it has it's purpose!! I am just ready to start the journey on the banded side!! Susan

Susan, Does your insurance cover the lapband? I understand from the information seminar I went to that most insurances don't cover the lapband. Are you one of the lucky few whose insurance does cover it?

My surgery is the 10th too!! I am scared, anxious, nervous and a little excited!! I will be much better when I wake up and am doing ok!! LOL!! I can't wait to chat with you all on the losing side!! I have been doing a liquid protein fast for the last month, so I will be glad when the time actually comes that I can have at least a bite of food...lol!!

My surgery is on the 10th too--for a the lap band. I've been dealing with the Atkins-like diet now for 2 weeks but other than that haven't really thought about being scared until yesterday. All of the sudden it hit me that I'm having surgery this week!! I'm still as excited as ever but I have a lot of the 'what if's' creeping in. Good luck to everyone!! leslie

Yep..me too!!!!!!!!!!!! Surgery is Nov 10th and I have been chatting with Denise and hopefully we will if nothing else get to see one another at the hospital. I'm having open RNY on the 10th. Much more nervous than I thought I'd be. At this point just can't wait to have the surgery done so I can get up and walk around and get on with my new life! I'm 57 and had my stomach stapeled 20 years ago. Pretty primative back then, They seem to have perfected the whole thing now. Just hope my surgion dosen't find too much scare tissue from the last op. Yep tomorrow morning at 7:30 am!!!! Have to get to the hospital by 5:30 a.m.!!!!! I'm starting to get a little nervous but am very excited about the possibility of letting this skinny person finally come out of me. Good luck to all of us undergoing this lifechanging experience. I'm ready.... Alice
