Surgery postponed

I just want to thank everyone who sent me all the messages for my 11/3/04 surgery date. Unfortunately it was postponed because of test results that were not received. But, everything has been turned in now and I am rescheduled for 11/17/04. Only one problem, the bariatric coordinator is concerned about my blood sugar being a little high. Wants my primary doctor to comment to see if it's ok to go ahead with surgery. I hope it doesn't postpone my date again. It's not THAT high, but if I don't have surgery it could get worse. HI Sheri, I'm sorry your surgery got postponed.That must have been so hard to deal with. After all the prep I am going through like getting work release and getting my home and family prepped I would be so upset if my surgery got postponed. But on a lighter note we are surgery buddies......my surgery is schedule for the 17th also. I can't believe it is finally almost here. good luck with your surgery, I pray for a safe and speedy recovery for both of us. Deb
