Pacing!!
Well its now the last weekend in this lifestyle. The one I have known for all of my 48 years and I am not sorry to see it go. Surgery is this coming Wed (11-10) and its almost surreal. I went to put on a jacket today and of course it was too tight from last year and my immediate thought was "sh*t now I need to buy a new one. Thennnnnnnnnnnn I remembered, the days of having to buy bigger are over.
Still no angel and with just days to go, I would really feel great having my own special one.
You know I thought that too until I tried on some shirts from last year. Since none of them covered my gut (sticks out now that I have to wear stretchy jeans...can't find regular ones that are over a size 28, and 28s no longer fit. So I went to Target and bought 4 differnt colored turtleneck shirts to wear until I can fit back into the otehrs (it will be so nice when I can wear whatever I want and don't have to buy 5 of the same shirt in different colors just because it's the only one that fits good). They were only about $10 each, and I figured I deserve to feel good about myself until I get to the lower size (hoping in about 6 weeks from now...4 wks post-op).
I also do not have a winter coat that fits, so I will be wearing my polar fleece zip-up I bought from the Casual Male store earlier this year until one fits. Good luck next week!
