Surgery on November 12th, 2004
Everything is pre-approved.
Insurance approved in less that 4 full days on first submission.
Hospital pre-admission work is finished. Final pre-op visit with Dr. Babineau was today - Election Day! I am ready to do this RNY and get back to living life. I am also apprehensive, especially of very long term, unknown, possible consequences of this surgery. Your prayers and thoughts are appreciated.

John Paul-
You have my prayers. And congratulations! I am right behind you. My surgery is scheduled for November 23rd. I am, as you a little nervous, but very optimitsic. I know a few (4) people who have had this done. Two of which had it done more than two years ago. Everyone is VERY, VERY pleased that they made this decision. I am guessing that I will feel the same. Good luck to you and keep a positive attitude. I think we all get to a point where we know how life is, and the chances of it getting better are pretty good. We may as well go for it! I will mark the calendar on the 12th and keep you in mind that day. Good luck!

John, I'm scheduled on Nov. 12 at 12:45 with Dr. Babineau. Which hospital are you going to be in. I don't know if he bounces back and forth between the two or not. I'm like you - excited and jittery. I live in Stephenville and it is 209 mi. to his office. I'm heading to Tyler in the morning to do my pre-op. What does it entail? Blessings, Patti
