My Thanksgiving Dinner

Ok, my surgery is on Nov 12 and I propbably wont be in the best of shape to have to cook on Thanksgiving, so I decided last week that I wasnt going to miss out.. I had my Thanksgiving today. After cooking all day preparing my Thanksgiving feast. My family and I set down to a great dinner. I fixed Turkey, garlic potatoes, green bean casserole, turkey noodles, glazed carrots, mashed potatoes, stuffing balls, apple pie, pumpkin pie, apple crisp,, all made from scratch. Yummmeeeeeee. Yep I know starch starch starch, the grand kids (3) all had to have their favorites :rollin Everything was great, and all the grandkids, ages 4 6 9 all came up to me, and the youngest said, Nana, why are you going to get you belly stapled, she said this very concerned, and my 6 year old grandson said, Nana, I love you just the way you are, please don't get skinny, who will fix my stuffing balls for me if you don't eat. I started laughing and gave him the biggest hug, I told them that I would always cook what they liked when they came to stay. So after a long weekend with the grandkids and my 2 kids, My house is nice and quiet and my stomach says "THANK YOU" I had my Turkey dinner wooooohoooooooooooo now come to Tuesday, its liquid for 10 days,, UGh ,, but I can do it ,,, God bless all Jackie C

Hey Jackie, I am going to do the same thing. My surgery is Nov.15 so this weekend my family and I are gonna have a feast. I know it will be a while before I can eat dressing and sweet potatoe cass. so I have to get it in before then. Becky
