Positives about being a November Baby!!
Yes so true about feeling free. Mid-west Loosers is starting Obesity Awareness. It is a beautiful bracelet with semi-dark purple crystals, with a ribbon, butterfly, and a heart that says "FREEDOM" It is so pretty. I had to order one. Sandy Pierce of " www.imnotfatanymore.com "
has this great website. and they are going to be posted on there for sale. Not sure when but she would like this to become worldwide. People dont understand the everyday struggle we live with. I am sure it goes through their minds, " They can loose weight if they wanted too" Arrggghhhhh
'Its not that we dont want too, WE CANT!!!!!!!!!!!!! and this surgery is not "AN EASY WAY OUT" I am so sick of hearing that. We are putting our lives at risk to have a "NEW LIFE" a "BETTER LIFE" So by getting these braclets out, we can start an awareness. I love the ideal so much.. Also, make sure you all get you medical Id braclets, "Gastric Bypass Patient "No Ng Tube" This could save our lives.
Hugs and lots of love

For me it's not having to hold one of the family get-together! I love the day - but all that prep work? You can keep it! I'll have my little broth (I'm 11/22) for Turkey day. My brother is holding the Christmas festivities - by then it'll be mushies I think.
Actually I think it's great to have a November date because November is when you really think about giving thanks. And I am so grateful, to my employer, my insurance company and myself for making this decision to better my life physically possible.
I hope God watches over each and everyone of us November babies!

I, too, am electing to have my lap RNY on Election day 11/2/04! Blessings of being a November baby include the fact that no matter who wins the election, I'll finally be able to start "winning" at weight loss. I also like what Cat J posted about gratitude. I am so grateful that I was approved (by my insurance) and that I can go ahead and have the rny. It's also a positive that I can have a few weeks off work for recuperation, and to learn my new eating / drinking program.
Thanks for asking,
Susan
