Bowel Prep is Nasty!
I'm scheduled for Surgery on Monday Morning (Nov. 1). I did my first dose of Fleet Phosphasoda this morning. Oh boy, it was the most fowl tasting stuff that I had ever drank. I felt sick for at least thirty minutes afterwards.
Just a suggestion, you might want to use a straw and don't plan on going anywhere for at least three hours.
Hey there, Gwendolyn... I have to begin my bowel prep in the morning. I don't have to have the awful soda until Monday... but tomorrow morning I start with the Gas-ex stuff and am on all liquids.
I hope you do great with your surgery... and post when you can to let all of us "November WLSers" know how you're doing.

If that is the same crappy stuff I had to drink prior to my colonoscopy over a year ago, it makes me shudder to remember how it tasted, so I totally agree wtih you!
To me, it tastes like alka-seltzer gone flat...only worse! And, you are right about not planning to go anywhere..lol...in fact, make sure you are VERY close to a toilet!
I know my day is fast approaching and I will have to be doing the same thing

man!! i am really lucky. my only rule is to take in only liquids the day before and nothing after midnight. if i can't drink it, i can't have it. i was worried i might have to drink something which is why i took the day before off. but i got lucky. i really feel for all of you that have to drink something nasty.
