My date is Nov. 17th and now NERVOUS

Hi there...this is Joanie from Hermiston, OR...I got my date for Nov 17th. We are self-pay cuz our insurance has a exclusion for WLS. We finally got our loan approval so I called the surgeon and it's all set! Now, I'm getting REEEEEEEEEEEEALLY nervous about it. I was excited but my thoughts are running rampant now...what if this doesn't work? what if I'm sick all the time? what if, what if, WHAT IF?? I hate it when I do this to myself. Hi Joanie & Susan, My date is Nov. 17th too! Funny, I was TOTALLY at peace about my decision to have this surgery. Then, sort of out of nowhere, the "what-ifs" started. My main concern has been "What if this doesn't work?" Now, I'm trying to remind myself that there really isn't anyway that theis could NOT work as long as I do what I am suppose to do. I'll be thinking of you both and praying for you! Donna P

My date is Nov 15th and I am both excited and nervous at the same time. I have lots of support which helps, but the what ifs are always there. I will be praying for you! Carol

Joanie, Looks like there will be a few of us going in on the 17th. I can't wait & want it done now. I've been pretty calm, but that may change. I think of the what ifs too, but what if we don't do this? I'm ready. I'll be praying for all of us. Dense S.
