Amy, You are a gorgeous girl! You will be even more of a knockout after the surgery. I stay up all night putting together fictional outfits. So excited!!! Some people worry they will not know what to wear when they lose weight. Not me. I will be shopping till I drop! That sounds so vain. But so What. We all deserve it.

Happy, I share your excitement because that is my surgery date as well!! I have lots of mixed emotions...scared one minute, anxious the next, crying, laughing, you name it! I am worried mostly about getting the nourishment needed immediately post-op, so I am busily outlining a plan for that. I will be praying for you, and please know that I will be sharing your feelings with you until that day. 23 DAYS AND COUNTING!!!

Patricia, I was so worried at first that I thought about not going through with it. That's when I really began to research all the facts and found this website. All the positive stories really put my mind at ease along with the facts. You will do great!!! Keep me posted. Happy

Happy, Yes! Isn't this site great?? While I was doing my preliminaries required by my surgeon, last month, I went to "Google" to search for information on bariatric surgery, and found this place. What a Godsend! After browsing around, I called my surgeon's office and told his staff about it. At the next support meeting, all present were encouraged to visit ObesityHelp. Thanks for your encouragement. Feel free to email me any time as we make this journey together. 22 DAYS AND COUNTING!!

I too have a November date. November 9th to be exact. I have the same emotions running through my body. I have a few dreams to look forward to when I begin to loose the weight. 1) bend over and tie my shoes without have an embiolism (sp). 2) to wear hard pants. that is none elastic waist. 3) to ride a bike outside and to work (2 miles away). 4) I should have listed this one first to be healthy and enjoy the rest of my life with my dear husband and support system, Donny. Good luck with your surgery and let me know how you are doing. Thanks for listening. Lizzi

My date is November 15th.. I am like everyone else, happy one minute, worried the next. I know the end result will be great, but since I cannot have the laproscopy, I am worried about the whole surgery and pain thing... We are so close to surgery! Think of me on the 15th and I will think of you the next day! Good luck! Carol
