GOT BRONCHITIS!!

Hi everyone. I'm so scared that they are gonna postpone my surgery set for 11/10 because I'm taking antibiotics for bronchitis now. I know it's for the best if they decide they need to but I've been waiting for a while and I want to get this done. Okay I've had my pity party and I feel better now. Alice

You should be OK by then. I know how you must feel. I work with elderly and with no flu shots I am afraid we will have an outbreak before I get to my date on the 8th of November. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

Oh man I thought it was me alone..I had a fever yesterday and I have a stuffy runny nose forget about it....its terrible and my date is on Nov 10 as well... Stacey

I hope you feel better, soon! I'm trying to be SO cautious so I don't catch something before my surgery. I've got disinfectant wipes in my purse which I think I've used so many times that my hands are getting dried out. Take care of yourself, hon. I'll bet you'll be fine for your surgery. How about making some homemade chicken veg or chicken noodle soup? Helps the way you feel and helps to break up congestion. Donna P

Oh my gosh! I know what you mean, I had leringitis(sp?) last week, and still am very congested. Feel much better, but have tried not to take anything cause I'm scared of what my doctor will say!

I have Bronchitis too! I had to postpone my surgery once and now am scheduled for 11/9/04. I don't want to go under the knife with any chest congestion. I have to see Dr. Thayer before surgery to be checked out....hopefully, it will be a go! What hospital are you having your surgery at? Nancy

I have bronchitis too, I feel your pain! I'm on day 2 of my second round of antibiotics. I'm scheduled for Nov 22, but have a vacation planned inbetween. I'm seriously thinking of postponing my vacation because of all the germs on planes. Paranoid I guess. I too, don't want to postpone. I'm ready now! Best advice, plenty of fluids and rest. I think I've been so sick because I kept going back to work to soon. Well my doctor told me to stay home until Monday, so that's what I'm going to do. Get some sleep! Cat

Hello everyone, This is something isnt it...when I got my date a few weeks ago..I said to myself that I have to try my best not to get sick...knowing very well that when the chill gets in the air I am doomed..lol..plus I have asthma to...Let me tell you I have been drinking all my mom's old fashion home remedies to help me out...Thank God I am feeling a bit better but I am still a bit congested....Oh well..what are we gonna do...lol...keep drinking fluids whether its hot or cold.....and the chicken soup did help Keep well everyone....
