Yes, I do!!!

I have a date no really... I have a date Friday night! I'm going to the Oakland A's vs Anaheim Angels game for my husbands birthday. BUT REALLY I REALLY DO HAVE ANOTHER DATE NOVEMBER 4TH 12 NOON!!! Something to laugh about---The first time I read the message board I thought boy there post ops are really out on the dating scene "I GOTTA DATE" was posted everywhere!! I didn't realize getting a surgery date was such a big deal until now!! I know that was ditzy!! Hope I'll be a big loser soon!!! Summer

Aloha Summer,. I know just what you mean,... it seems that the boards are an ocean of "I have a date!!!" and until you actually get yours,............... I had a smidge of jealousy mixed with a tad of I will never be able to reach thier goal. and then WHAM reality hits you and there you a re marking your calendar with a highlighter , calling all of your friends, starting to plan your last month . Never in my life has from now until November second seemed both so far away and so close at the same time. May your new tool be all that you expected it to be and I will be keeping you in my prayers on your upcomming surgery ! Tracy-Rae

Tracy, Thank you!! I can totally understand - November seems so far away however now that I actually can have the surgery done I'm not in real big hurry! (nerves) When I am getting that IV I'll be thinking "I can't believe I'm here already!" I'm trying to plan days off for my husband, childcare for my 2 boys, who I am going to tell, and what vitamins to buy!! I hope your surgery goes well without much discomfort and I'll keep you in my prayers as well!! Soon to be slim, Summer!!
