I have been the same weight for the last 3 months. I have lost 120 lbs down to 170 lbs. I would like to lose another 10lbs. Has anyone got this thing started again? I exercise 3x per week maybe it's not enough. I need some pointers if any one has any. Tracey.

Hi Tracey I am just curious about your diet. How many calories are you getting in each day? How many carbs? How much protein? Fluids? Vitamins? Any of these things can have an impact on your weight loss. ((((((HUGS)))))) Dawn

Hi Dawn thanks for your reply. I have not really been calculating as I should.I make sure that I eat protein first, then veggies and fruit. If I have room, I am allow myself to eat to eat carbs.I am so tired of calculating everything due to my 20 years ++ of dieting. Can you relate???? I know I really need to work on my water intake and cut down on those nasty carbs!!! I know that any food that is white should not touch our lips.Flour sugar rice and pasta.Brown ones are the only good ones!! Why can't they taste as good?? Can you give me an example of what your typical daily menu would be. breakfast lunch and dinner and any snacks you might have. You are doing so well ,maybe others could benefit from your wisdom. Thanks a whole bunch . Smiles.. Tracey.

I haven't lost anything since October. I work out at least 3 times a week. I think I'm putting on muscle. I measured by body fat and 3 months ago and it was at 19%. I measured it again recently and it was at 16%, which is very good. I'm not too worried about the weight loss stopping, but I am 10 pounds short of my goal. I would at least like to reach my goal. But, hey I look and feel great. I ran 6 miles on Saturday and I am going running after work today. Good luck to you! Cecil 338/170

Wow!! way to go Cecil ! Running is something I have always dreamed of doing. I would like to some day, run in a small marathon. For now, Iam working and working out at curves. I also am up to 5km walks 3x a week.I just started doing that jog for a minute walk for four minute thing to increase my stamina. I can't wait to be able to run that 5km. Bye for now .Tracey.

Thanks Tracy! I ran again this evening after work. We went about 4 miles. I can't quite run the whole way without walking some, but I can run a mile before I have to walk. I walk a little bit each mile. I've only been running for a few weeks. It gets easier every time. We have a beautiful park here will trials that wind through the woods along side a river. It's amazing. Keep at it, it won't be long before you'll be running that 5K. I never dreamed I would be running for fun. But I love it! Cecil

I would definitely up the exercise to 4-5 x per week. Also, make sure your diet is how it should be. Protein first, veggies, than starch and water, milk, etc....Cut sugar down, too if you are eating too much (which I know is something I have to work on for sure)
