Tummy tuck here I come!

Well, I have a date for my tummy tuck and skin removal. Drumroll please - 3/4/05! I cant wait! Found an excellant surgeon and most if not all of it will be covered by insurance. Thank goodness for a hernia and congenitally weak stomach muscles! He estimated the amount of skin to be removed at 15lbs. Hard to believe! I still can't believe I have lost almost 200lbs. It is mind boggling. Especially when I now wear the same size pants as my daughter. Wish me luck! Chris 396/202/???

Good luck chris - You'll be so happy when it's done - I had one in early november - it was just about 1 year post-op from my gastric bypass. I had the tummy tuck and a breast augmentation done all at once and I'll tell you - the pain was not as bad as I thought. You'll be fine. Just keep in the back of your head that every minute that passes is bringing you closer to not being in pain! Congratulations on the weight loss. I know what you mean about being mind-boggling. I still feel like I'm fat sometimes, when I dream, I dream that I'm still fat. LOL - :0) Good luck and God Bless!!
