a question regarding babies....

how many of you have or know of anyone getting pregnate after being one yr post op??? hubby and I are thinking of it and I want to be sure before doing anything dumb like going off the birth control patch.

Charlotte, I would suggest talking to your doctor. From what I've heard, it's not a problem. But it's always a good idea to find out what he/she would have to say. Good luck and I wish you the best. Merry Christmas! Shelley

Hi My doctor has told us that we should wait till we are out 1 and 1/2 years till we try for a baby just to make sure that we are totally able to provide everything we have to give to a baby such as nutrients etc. our bodies need time to recover from all this and we have to make sure we our bodies can totally take care of ourselves "and" another life. that is why he told me to wait till i am a year and a half out. hope this helps stacy leary [email protected] 11/14/2003 262.5~126.0
