Hi, It is my one year anniversary today!! Happy Re-Birthday to me!!!!!! My doctor says they do not consider this surgery a success until 5 years out. I can't believe it has been 1 year today!! I got a anniversary present of sorts today too. I thought i was done with the weight loss for about a month or so i have been at 132.5 and that was it. but i woke up this morning and i was 131.0 another 1.5 lbs!!! I really do not want to lose anymore though my doctor said i should stop between 130 and 140 and i have heard you can dip lower and then come back up a little to where you are going to be. i would like to be around 135 ish. so as long as i can stay around this to 135 will be great. i can eat whatever i want but i never eat sugar. that is a pandora's box i refuse to open, that was my weakness before and i don't want the chance of it happening again, so i basically tell myself i am like a diabetic and that is that. it has been working so i will keep on with it. i also, never have soda, although i know other people who do, why add the bloat and other problems associated with it? my grandfather always said if it ain't broke don't fix it. and this has been working for me and i have never been happier!! I am eating around 5 ozs. per sitting, what is everyone else up to. i measure every meal. 1 year ago today i never could have imagined that i would be 130 lbs and a size 4 to a 7 depending on the maker. i thought if i made it to 158 lbs the size i was when i graduated high school it would be a dream come true. i was a size 11 ish and not fat at all. the only difference is i have the big flap of skin hanging and it makes a little pooch in the front but not enough so you would go eewwww! i can wear short shirts and all. so i am happy and i don't think i will have the plastic surgery because i went to a seminar the other night and it looks really intense. alot worse than the surgery i did 1 year ago today!! i feel great and that's what's important for now. i might change my mind later but right now that's where i stand thanks for listening stacy leary [email protected] 262.5~130.0 11/14/2003

Congrats, you are doing amazing! If you don't mind me asking what do you eat on an avergage day? It was a year for me on 11/4 and I'm stll not a goal. I'm trying really hard to stick to a mostly protein diet, but I've been on a 4 1/2 month plateau, alot of exercise and alot of fluid I need to jump start the loosing again to accomplish this in the next 6 mos. Thanks for your help, one of the "SLOW LOOSERS"

Hi, on an average day, i eat like 2 cinnamon waffles with 2 sausages (about 4 oz. total) for breakfast. for lunch it's usually leftovers from the night before, (about 4 to 5 oz. total). i usually have 1 oz of cheese and 1 oz of peanuts for an afternoon snack around 4 ish. for supper i have around 5 oz. of whatever, steak, chicken, pork, with noodles, rice or a roll. and i will have a sugar free dessert about an hour later (about 1 to 2 oz.) that is my day. i have been really fortunate to be able to eat just about anything i want. there are a few things i won't touch or my body doesn't like but it's not shy about telling me and i won't touch it again. not worth it. just like sugar, if you can live without it, do because it makes a big difference. and soda as well, i can see the difference in people around me who have made the choices. and it is a difference. and don't be discouraged, you have come so far and every lb is forever weight. it's gone forever, if you want it to be. don't give up!! congrats on your anniversary and good luck on reaching your goal, i know you can do it. if you need anything else, just let me know stacy leary [email protected] 262.5~131.0 11/14/2003
