Head Hunger or Real Hunger
I have a question for the Post ops....How many of you all actually get hungry? And at what stage did this reoccur?
The reason that I am asking is because I have yet to experience hunger which I guess is a good thing.... but I do find myself wanting to eat just because so I guess that is considered Head Hunger. That's when I try to do other things to keep my mind off of food. Sometimes if works and sometimes it don't. If it don't work and I eat I try to do something high in protein which is good for me. How do you all handle your hunger? What snacks do you use to take the hunger edge away?

I have NOT experienced real hunger yet.....I eat because my brain tells me to eat ... you have not eaten yet....or I feel weak and tired....and my body needs energy. NOW, somedays I eat mainly because my head is hungry and I find myself snacking (nuts, seeds) all day. I'm glade I still don't feel real hunger because I think my days balance out....in the way of eating that is Good luck.
