Hey guys, I am down 110 lbs! I feel great and am very happy with my decision to have the surgery. One of the things I've wanted to do all my life is take horseback riding lessons. As some of you might know, there are weight restrictions for taking lessons. Usually you have to weigh less than 200 lbs. So, for most of my life i was never able to do it. Now at 190, I just took my first lesson!!!!! So, my question to all of you is... What have you done that you were never able to do before now that you've lost weight? All the best, Charity 300/190/150

Hi Charity, That is one thing I would like to do too so I guess I have another 30 pounds to go before I can. So hopefully by Spring I can sign up for lessons. How was your first lesson? Are you doing English or Western? Enjoy!!! Darlene 309/228/???

I have gotten my bike out of storage for the first time in years. I now regularly ride 25+ miles. What a wonderful feeling. --Dave

Bike riding has been one thing. Hubby & I bought bikes this summer and have been doing quite a bit of that. Also I have been able to ride roller coasters again, without fear that I won't fit! I am not quite under the 200lb mark, but I have gone horseback riding recently after many years of not being able to. Our friends Horse Donny is HUGE, so I didn't feel to bad. He useually carries a 260lbs rider. Skiing has also been much easier ( though I was only down by 45lbs last season) this year should be even better!
