speaking of adding it up....
HOLY CRAP! I just started back to tracking my food intake on fitday.com this week and you will not believe I have been eating NEARLY 2000 cals a day!! Holy crap! That freaked me out! Yesteday I tried to be more CAREFUL...but still got 1500, then went out and had two drinks, so that added another 300! Dang!
I am SO ON TOP OF THIS!! I read about people as far out as me who can only eat 1/2 cup of food at a time. NOT ME! I can tolerate just about anything too. What a scary scary thing this is. Well, atleast I'm on top of it and I'm making some changes! Plus I'm being honest with myself. I was about to skip adding the ****tails on fitday.com, but I thought, WHO AM I TRICKING!? That website is a great tool. Especially for someone like me who can just let things get out of control!! WOO!!
Thanks for letting me share, Kristen
~~scared of being mo again, but eating junkfood!! Somehow that doesn't work eh?!~~
Hi Kristen
After reading your post this morning, I decided to track my eating for the next few days, just to see how I am eating.
Sometimes I can eat more than other days, but if I make the right food choices, it shouldn't matter what size food serving we consume.
Just curious; are you still losing even with eating 2000 calories?
((((HUGS))))
Dawn
Well, I went to weigh in today and in three weeks I've lost two whole lbs. And to top it off, one lb was muscle and the other was water! DANG!
Well, I have been eating like this for the past few months without realizing how many calories, etc I was eating, and I have still been losing. Of course my wt loss has slowed down, but that's to be expected.
I think I'm going to focus on eating much healthier choices instead of freaking out about getting too many calories or carbs. I just want a happy medium. I guess it's time I started eating rigth! I got away with eating whatever and lost lots of wt really fast and easy. But now that's all catching up with me.
I'm going to find one of those websites with a calculator that will tell you how many calories you need to consume to be a certain wt. That might help me feel better an give me ome guidlines. Before surgery I had no idea what was normal. I never knew how many calories I ate in a day. I can only imagine it was WAY up there! WHEW!
Thanks for the reply and the hugs-- I needed 'em! Take care, Kristen
