not quite there yet myself. I started at 306; now at 180; doc says I should be about 170. The last 10 lbs. ARGH... I too was stuck for almost a month; then I lost 4 lbs. So, hopefully I'll get the last 10 gone; and then off to see about a tummy tuck. never give up, we all will make it. congrats to all on the progress you have made thus far. mark g.

I have reached goal! When I went to my 6-month appointment, which was actually my 7th month Dr. Ikramuddin told me that I am at goal & I do not need to lose any more weight. I started at 200 lbs & I am now 128 total loss of 72 lbs. This surgery has changed my life! I am so much more active & loving life every day. When I come home from work I don't want to hang out on the couch & read a book anymore. I want to go for a walk, or ride my stationary bike or go fishing.....anything but just sitting around! I am hoping to still make one more personal goal, I would like to weight 120lbs, but that may not happen. I haven't lost any weight in a couple of months. I hope you all make your goals that you have set for yourselves! God Bless!

72 lbs. down makes you at goal? I guess needing to be 100 lbs overweight did not pertain to your surgeon? I am somewhat perplexed. How tall are you?

72 lbs down does make me at goal. I had a medical condition called Psuedo Tumor Cerebri that could only be fixed by having wls or brain surgery. I choose wls. My medication stopped working & my medication was causing painful kidney stones that had to be removed by surgery. This condition is a result of having too much spinal fluid build up in your skull, putting pressure on the optic nerve, along with everything else in your head. Resulting in eye problems, eye site loss, raging pressure headaches, tinnutis & more. Since surgery I have not had any symptoms, or problems so my surgery is definatly a success! Now I do not have to look forward to possibly losing my eyesite! I was 200 lbs at surgery & I am 5'1.5. You can read my profile for more information if you would like. I believe it is all in there. I wish! Doctor says goal should be 160- I want my goal to be 145. So today, at 175, I still have 30 lbs to go. I want to reach this goal by my 1 year re-birthday this November. SO that is about 1 pound each week to reach MY goal. I KNOW I can do it!!! Celeste 303/175/145goal
