sharp, stabbing pain

For the past couple of days when lying down on my right side at night, I have noticed that when I turn to my other side to get out of bed I feel a sharp stab right in the middle of my abdomen (ribs) near my incision line. Its very brief but enough to make me take a deep breath. Its over in a couple of seconds. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this? It just started a few nights ago and seems to happen when I move from lying on my side for a long time. Kinda feels like my rib is pinching something. As strange as that sounds. Just wondering if this has happened to you?

Hi. I just wanted to comment about your question. My friend had the same problem and she ended up having to have her gallbladder taken out. You may want to have that checked out by a doctor to make sure that isn't what it is. Just a thought...
