What are you all eating????

Hi guys, I wanted to get some ideas of what you all are eating, to help me come up with some new things. I'm doing the Atkins Shakes for Breakfast, Lunch is usually a Grilled Chick Salad or meat and veggies and then the same for supper. I'm kind of getting in a slump, any ideas??? Thanks, Mitzi

Mitzi, Hi I havent been doing very well with food lately it seems. I pretty much eat what I want to but in very small quantities compared to before and Im more conscious about what Im eatting now. When I go to the store I seek out the lowfat, low carb choices rather than before when I would have mistakenly picked up something lowfat or lowcarb and I would have been really upset. Funny how this surgery changes you in that manner. I have been eatting alot of fruits lately. I just love canteloupe and when I know I havent been good at getting my protein in for the day I will opt for some beef jerky or something with more protein. I also love the strawberry-kiwi Nectar protein shakes. I hope you get some good answers here because Id like to know also. Jennifer

I eat a lot of beef jerky. I buy this really soft jerky from www.tcsjerky.com. It is Tillamook Jerky from Oregon. I could not survive without it. Ten grams of protein per stick of 1 oz. It tastes delicious! I tend to run in spurts on other foods. Right now I am all into omeletes as I have just learned how to make a super one. That is for dinner tonight & breakfast tomorrow as one is too much to eat. I have been eating a bit more fruit, bananas & cucumbers. I eat basically all regular food, no protein drinks or anything like that. I eat grilled pork chops, chicken & burgers. Now that it is warming up, I prefer to grill my food. Last night we had chicken fajitas, I just tear off a lot of the wheat tortilla so I don't get so full from just that. I hope this helps a little! Priscilla -63lbs 198/135/120
