QUESTION? DO ANY OF YOU,HAVE PROBLEM WITH OCCASIONAL VOMITING?

HI, MY NAME IS SUE KYLE,I HAD MY SURGERY ON 11-4-03.I STILL HAVE OCCASIONAL BOUTS OF VOMITING.OK,1-2 TIMES,A WEEK.I HAVE LOST 68 POUNDS AND HOLDING.I HAVE LOST INCHES THOUGH.DO ANY OF YOU,HAVE TROUBLE WITH VOMITING?I BARF ON PROTEIN DRINKS, I WAIT A WEEK OR SO,THEN TRY AGAIN.BUT THE POUCH,DONT LIKE THEM.HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SUE KYLE

Hi; yes, I still now and then. my surgery date was 11-3-03. As I think back to those times; I believe it is when I eat to fast; don't chew well or eat to much. So I strive to pay more attention to how much I eat; and slow down. hope this helps. mark g.

11-17-03 here and yes i still barf also. about once a week is all. seems i eat too fast or do not chew well enough is what the nurse says. Debbie

I still ocasionally ....However, it is getting alot better.

Hi Sue. I had my surgery on 11/17/03. I have 85 lbs. off by now. I do still have incidences of vomiting and mostly it is when I start producing lots of saliva and it fills my pouch. I am constantly spitting to not get sick. I think that it is pretty normal to still vomit from time to time, so don't worry about it.
