stomach pains

Anyone have stomach pains really early in the morning? Could this be true hunger? It is right under my ribs and it feels like knotting from IBS. Doctor says I have a bug but this is not the first time it has happened. I thought that it may have been spicy food or something but I don't think that's it. Doctor said to give it a few days but I can't wait I hate waking to these pains. Just was wondering if anyone else has had this. Thanks Everyone Stacy 250/190/?

HI Stacy; my pain was under my left rib cage. The doc did a CT-Scan; and after looking at it; said that my large intestine had moved very high up to my ribs and to use a laxitive to move things along. He recommended that I do the pre-op bowel prep stuff. (YUCK !!) I did; and the pain went away. He then recommended to use a stool softner (Douclax ??); until I can get enough fiber down. hope this helps. mark g. 306/192/?

thanks, I will try that cuz I can't stand the pain. Makes me so sick, and yes that is where the pain is more on the left side. So a good cleaning out may do the trick. Thanks Stacy
