I'm having a hard time finding clothes, let me rephrase, consignment shop clothes. I don't want to buy a lot of new things since I know I'm still losing. I've lost 66 lbs so far and down to 203 and I want to try to stablize around 150. I can't find any cute capris at all in a size 18/20, just wondering what you all are doing????? Thanks, Mitzi

I don't know what stores you have in VA but out here in CA we have ROSS (T.J. Maxx, Marshall's and Nordstrom's Rack are similar). It's a discount clothing chain where I have found pant's ranging from $5.00 - $25.00. I do have to warn you that you need to be a digger and willing to go through racks to find the good stuff. They carry a broad range of designers and do have some nicer brands that can be a little higher in price. I was able to score a pair of Calvin Cline jeans for $6.99 and a pair of Polo low-rise cords for $12.99 in the clearance section. Also check out e-bay and your local thrift stores. I have found some low cost gems at both. Happy Shopping!! Melissa 314/204/150 from a size 24 to a 14 and still shrinking.

Hi, i have been buying off the clearance racks in all my favorite stores, wal-mart, fashion bug, tj maxx, jcpenney, sears. just go to these stores and check out the great deals on brand new clothing and it's on clearance for like 1 to 5 bucks. i have new clothes all the time for all the different sizes and it costs next to nothing. my other great place to find clothes is yard sales i got 3 pairs of jeans: DKNY, LLBean and Levis, a black suede vest and a weathevane sweater for 2.00 total for all 5 items!! can't get any cheaper than that!!! good luck stacy

Some churches have clothes they sell cheap or give away to the needy (that's us). Of course I, have donated several hefty bags full of clothes, so I don't feel bad taking what I want. When the clothes get too big, I just take them back. Cecil 338/220

A friend of mine called me the other day to tell me that the thrift store was having a $1 sale. EVERYTHING was a buck. I managed to find some really nice things and got a nice little wardrobe for $5. Also, if you have a store called Rainbow, they have cute things on sale all the time. Good luck and happy shopping!

My local Support group meetings do "clothing exchange" once a month. Its been a godsend. Also I am active in my church and I just have them announce in Sunday school that I could use some size _ clothes if ayone has some that they are getting rid of. I have gotten some cute FREE clothes. People like to give things they aren't using to people who could really use it.
