Had my surgery on 11/21/03. Started at 340 and am now down to between 262 and 265. Haen't lost anything to speak of in about a month. This is somewhat depressing. I guess it is time to try and change the routine. I'll open the door and ask for suggestions. Life is pretty busy around my house with 4 teenagers and a mother in law with Alzheimers. My goal is 200 so I have about 65 to go. Thanks, John

Hello John Don't worry. I am right there with you. I have only lost 2 pounds in the last month. I think our body's are just taking a breather. Just make sure that you are getting in enough****erand protein in and I am sure that you will begin to lose soon. ((((HUGS)))) Dawn

Good to hear that everyone else is stuck also. I wonder if the body is just saying slow down NOW. We cannot keep loosing at the pace we were. I also lost slow last month. 4 pounds is all. We are spoiled by loosing real fast and everyone says it slows down so i guess we have hit that point. Good luck Debbie

I am typically at a plateau every month. I will usually only loose any weight about 1 week out of the whole month. So I definetley know how they suck! But know this, the plateau will end & you will start losing again. I am now down 62 pounds since November 4th 2003!

YES, THEY SURE DO. I have been stuck on mine for about the same length of time. I stared at 253. I have been stuck at 200 for a month or so. *sighs*

Thanks for your support. Overall I have been doing well and following orders but I have reached a point where food is definitely not any fun. I've gotten bored with food and not much of anything tastes good. I'm sure it is more of a head thing than a belly thing. I have a another followup appt next week with my doc. I'm going to whine at him also. I know this plateau will break but I want it now. John 340/262/something'ish

I am also stuck and have been for about 3 weeks. I dont like it, but I had fallen into some bad habits again, and I hate that even more. I am really working on getting rid of those habits again most of them have to do with what I eat. Chips have always been my weakness and I have snuck more than a few in lately. I got rid of them by throwing them away and vow not to by another bag. I live alone so it is alot easier for me, not to have to buy the stuff for the rest of the family. I never post on this board but want to say to all of my rebirthday buddies, keep on keeping on. Janette 307/227/147
