Hi everyone, I recently found a really great protien shake recipe that I actually like. I don't enjoy the atkins or other premixed ones, they all taste too sweet to me or something, but this one is great - I really look forward to it. here's how I make it... In a blender add... 1/2 container Dannon lite/fit yogurt (any flavor) 2 heaping Tablespoons cottage cheese 1/2 cup frozen berries - (use the same kind as your yogurt flavor) 1 scoop unflavored whey protien - (I use "All the Whey" whey protien isolate) 2 packets of splenda 1/4 cup 1% milk - (this is just to thin it out a bit - you can use any kind of milk you can tolerate.) Puree for 60 seconds and enjoy! I really like this, it's a great breakfast. I found it helped with the plateau breakage as well, since it's something different from my ordinary routine. Good luck to all - Sheri Byrne

Hi, Sheri!! Your recipe sounds great!! I'm one of those picky eaters (and drinkers) and came up with my own recipe for a morning shake that I would like to share with you and others. I never thought I would find a protein powder that I could tolerate....but, there is one called UNJURY that, I swear, you cannot taste at all no matter how you use it. My surgeon's office gave me some samples and I fell in love with it. I now order it online for delivery every month or so. Here is the shake recipe that I take to work with me every morning for breakfast. When I told my surgeon's office about it....they actually took down the recipe and use it themselves!! Let me know what you think. You can use other fruits...or try using a few drops of any food flavoring...instant coffee would work too!! Linda's Breakfast (or anytime) Protein Shake 1 ripe banana (or strawberries or any fruit you like...bananas work best) approx. 1 cup of 1% or skim or whatever milk you like approx. 1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar free pudding mix (makes it thick) 1-3 pkgs of Equal (depends on the ripeness of the banana) 1/2 scoop of unflavored UNJURY protein powder a few ice cubes Mix all in a blender til ice is gone. I usually pour it into a freezer mug to keep it ice cold til I can drink it all. Hope everyone that reads this enjoys!!! Let me know!!!
