HELP!! Bad weight loss month

Has anyone else had a bad loss month? I only lost 5 pounds this past month and can't figuer out what I am doing wrong. I lost a total of 52 pounds and I am going on my fifth month. I get all my water in, I am doing what my doctor suggests and my nutritionist. I know I have to step up my exercise though. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, Darlene

I'm having a bad weight loss month...its NO weight loss here...No inches either...I think my body is taking a long break since I'm at a weight that I was at for many years...and my body remembers it....you only considered to be in a platuea if NO weight loss or No inches lost for 4 weeks...so your still doing GREAT....you might be loosing more inches at this point..measure.... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

I have not lost one pound since Feburary 18th. I think this will be the big one. I get on the scales once a week, I am going to stop that. I think I need to drink more water and less milk, tea?? Don't know...

Hi, they tell me that if we aren't losing weight we are losing inches. so if you know what your measurements were, measure now and see if you have lost that way. it all evens out eventually good luck Stacy

Oh girl, I wish I could help.. but I'm in the same boat... I have slowed down drastically - in fact I havent moved the scales in the last 3 weeks or so. The weight I am at now is the weight I haven't been able to get under in many many years... which is really fustrating. I lost 10 pounds this month for 75 total. I drink at least 80 oz of water a day and eat 60 grams of protein, with almost all of my side dishes being high fiber dishes like lettuce, celery, spinach, etc. No sugar at all. Hi Darlene -- from the other responses, you know you're not alone with this issue. I just wanted to add another number to the count. I'm having the same problem -- I've only lost about 5 pounds over the last two months for a total of 47. It's very frustrating. I've upped my protein, water, and exercise. Like some others *****sponded, I think I'm also at a weight that I was for a long time several years ago. It's certainly an aggravating phenomenon. I guess all we can do is hang in and hope for a big drop before too long and keep doing what we know is supposed to work I am mainly focusing on not getting too discouraged, which is no easy feat, I can tell ya. Hope it breaks for you soon. And for me, too! Best, Kathy

This is what I needed to read. This month has been ridiculous! I have lost a total of 70 lbs. But only 5 lbs this past month . I get my inches done at Curves tommorrow -so I will let you know if the theory "Dont worry you are probably losing inches " is true. Plus I eat, exercise, and drink not to mention I am losing my hair like crazy now.
