I seem to have broken the plateau...

Hi everyone, I hope everyone else is having the same experience, I seem to have broken the plateau this morning. Down to 210 from 215 last week. I think it was the whey protien. I made an awesome chili that I got off of one of the wls sites and added the whey protien to it, making each 1 cup serving a whopping 45 grams of protien. I have it for lunch and sometimes for dinner. If anyone wants the recipe for the chili, just email me and I'll send it to ya. I love it! Please let me know if ya'll are having any success with the plateaus, I noticed I'm always right in line with everyone else on this board - so if that's true, everyone is having some loss now. :0) Sheri Byrne [email protected] Poughkeepsie, NY

Hi Stacy- I emailed the recipe to you. I CAN eat a whole cup of this without feeling stuffed or full. I do not, however, eat any of the corn tortillas with it or any bread for that matter. Enjoy! Sheri Byrne

Oh that word (plateaus)..... ugh!!!!!!!!!! Boy do I hate that word lately. I have been on one the past 3 weeks also and finally broke it yesterday by 2 lbs. For 3 weeks I was up a pound, down a pound........again and again. My surgery was 11/17/03. Today is exactly 3 months. I am down 57 lbs. since surgery. My goal os 100 lbs gone forever by 6 months. I just bought the new Lateral Thigh Trainer from tv, I can't wait for it to get here so I can use it. It is supposed to be good for the thighs, hips, butt, and tummy. It is a stepper with a side to side motion which works all these areas! Woohoo, God knows I need this. LOL

I had Lap RNY on 11/4/04 and am down 57 lbs but am looking for new ways of getting in protein. I am pretty much getting sick of the same things I am eating so if you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks and congratulations on your sucess! I was wondering if what I heard somewhere was true and that is you can't absorb more than 30 grams of protein at 1 time. Have you heard that?

Sheri, could you please send me the receipe too. My email address is [email protected] OH, BTW, I too can eat a cup of ...you name it. With out feeling full or stuffed. I really think that each surgeon is different...and the size of all our pouches is probably different too.....
